Dynamite Disco Club is a community for Disco and House music curated by Stalvart John taking a closer look at the roots of soul, funk, disco, and house. It’s a chance to go back to the basics of Chicago house, Detroit funk, and Philly soul scene while keeping it fresh with some of the best new ideas. The concept started off as a radio show started airing on boxout.fm and has completed 22 episodes till now.

Stalvart John found his home in electronic music about a decade back when he discovered artists like Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, and Robert Miles. Known for his deeper take on dance music and his unconventional attitude, he contributed to the initial uprising of Kerala’s electronic music scene.
After shifting base to Bangalore in early 2015, he started finding a new comfort zone in his Disco and House Music which has earned him showcases at some of the top venues like Humming Tree, High Spirits, Blue frog, Social Offline, Summer House Cafe.
Today, Stalvart is a regular feature at the country’s best festivals such as Magnetic Fields & Go:Madras.
With a bunch of releases across labels such as Windhorse Records, Mind Field Records and having opened for acts such as Bill Brewster, Horse Meat Disco, Zero 7, Jayda G, Byron The Aquarius, Young Marco, Dub FX he brings his Dynamite Disco Club property to Mumbai for the first time next week.

This 26-year-old maverick has a mask for every occasion. Well known in the cult progressive metal circles in India for his earlier work for Goddess Gagged before moving on to study music production in the UK; he’s already performed in places like Croatia, Netherlands,UK and Sri Lanka while cherry-picking his
way through local gigs & festivals as well.
