Community Playlist 024

Amtosh Singh in an entrepreneur based in Mumbai and runs a really cool online shopping website called Propshop24. PropShop24 offers lifestyle essentials, awesome gifts, perennial party supplies & props curated from around the globe for your home, workplace, bar & parties. Infact, we even have a Humans of Music association with them, selling art prints and phone cases with our collaborative designs courtesy Hanisha, Azra J & Daniel Sun – I’ve always admired Amtosh’s appreciation for good music and a good party, he has an extremely honest approach. I have also envied the fact that his entire close-knit crew of friends are massive music heads. One always wishes to share their musical journey/memories with the ones they care for and love the most, but when you  create those memories together – the feeling is something else! His apartment is quite the after-party haven and although I might have not lasted till morning, I’ve definitely heard of his infamous (although I know he tries his best to keep it low key) post gig affairs listening to tunes with people that matter to him the most. With our common interests in travel which involves covering an international music festival, electronic music & dogs (Yes, he has the most gorgeous looking Husky who goes by the name of Meishka) we’ve got a great mix of tracks put together by ‘Amty’ as he’s fondly called by his mates for this week’s community playlist!

“I’ve grown up to music since my mom is a big collector. I was introduced to vinyls really young and didn’t appreciate them until a few years ago. Growing up though my music taste has constantly evolved and today, it isn’t about genres but just the right kind of sound that makes my mind or body groove. work, chill, party, travel – whatever the scenario music always has an integral part to play. I’ve  included a mix of my favourite tracks below. Each of them are my perfect track for certain moments in my life.” – Amtosh Singh
